Born in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, PA, twin brothers Troy and Trev Parham have made indelible marks in the worlds of acting, screenwriting, rapping, and songwriting. Known for their infectious energy and creative synergy, the Parhams were voted "Class Clowns" in the 8th grade, showcasing their lifelong dream of entertainment and performing.
The brothers ignited their passion for the arts early on when they joined the Drama Club at the First Corinthian Baptist Church in West Philadelphia. Their creative journey took flight as they ventured into breakdancing and rapping, and by the age of 16, they made a significant impact on Philadelphia's rap scene. The duo won 1st place in a competition featuring 30 of the city’s top rappers at the Uptown Nu-Tech, marking a pivotal moment in their musical career.
At just 17, Troy and Trev independently sold 20,000 copies of their first single, "Listen To The D.J.," directly from the trunk of their car—a testament to their entrepreneurial spirit and devotion to their craft. Their passion for music propelled them into world-renowned studios in New York, Atlanta, Detroit, and Las Vegas, where they wrote and produced songs that garnered acclaim.
In addition to their music career, the Parhams founded their own Film and Music Production Company, Twiintone Entertainment, allowing them to blend their talents in film and music seamlessly. They have starred in various short films that they wrote and produced, showcasing their versatility as creators. Their talent caught the attention of notable filmmakers, leading them to co-star alongside Adam Driver in the critically acclaimed film "Paterson."
The twins have also appeared in several television shows on networks like The Discovery Channel and TV One, further solidifying their presence in the entertainment industry.
